As to the details, I am guessing a big block with a gear set no higher than 4.30, mostly from the way it sounds.

Now not to be a complete "nitpick", but...
The video says 1964...
The rear quarters in the photo have no side marker lights like a 1967...
The front fenders have square side marker lights like a 1969...
There maybe others...the grille looks a little different to me...
Interesting history behind that car, to be sure.

But, I still think it is a sweet ride

That car is not a 1964 Valiant, no way Maybe a 1967 rear half with a newer front end on it 1964 Valaints where the frist year with the 273 V8, my mother had one of the first 1964 Dart 270 with a two barrel 273 V8 in it in SO CA in the first part of 1964. I have street raced and beat many 1964 Valiants and Chevy 11 with 283 2 barrels in them back in the day in her car That car hook me on drag raing, DANG IT
