And the sounds of crickets is deafening......Not a lot of old cranky Mopar guys go that route.

I have contemplated going that route for a while, but doing a BBM makes waay more power than I want, and the G3 setup would have to be custom for what I want. I keep thinking about selling my G2 Hemi and going for it, but I have plenty of projects this year already...So lets see who posts.

If I ever go that route, I want a G3 Hemi set-up like this G2 Hemi:

408 smallblock F1R with a blow-thru setup and meth injection. Made 1088 at the flywheel with two bad pushrods at 6800 rpm, then the serpentine belt started to slip. Switched to a cog set-up now. In a 71 Dart 3550 lbs, stock type suspension, and drag radials. Still learning with it, best et 9.29 and best mph 148. No pics on this computer. Nothing like the set-up above

Re: Procharger setups? - 10/25/13 03:37 AM

I did one back in 2001 - 500" 505hp crate motor, D-1 on alcohol blowing thru a Ron's Flying Toilet. Went 9.40's at 141mph in a #2800 E-Body.

I loved it! Won a top 10 S/P jacket with it.

Divorce forced its sale or I might still have it.

Serpentine belt slipped way too much. Installed a 8mm cog belt and everything worked great!

Would love to see a few pics if you get a chance. Sounds like it's working pretty good.

Re: Procharger setups? - 10/26/13 02:50 PM

Thanks guys, I'm throwing around the idea of a 470 D1SC setup for the street. Looking for 750hp or so. My only problem is the block. Are any of you guys with the milder combos making a stock block live? Did Koleno ever release the low deck block? I can't seem to find it listed anywhere. Thanks

How much boost are you putting through that 408, to run mid tens up here? I thought I saw that car for sale on Craigslist a few months ago...Are you the new owner, or the person who was selling it?

Re: Procharger setups? - 11/16/13 03:18 AM

I have owned the car since 1993...paid $200.00 for it and drove it every day for a couple of years. The P600B will only make 6 pounds of boost on the 408 spinning it at max rpm. It made 10 pounds on my 360 and ran the same exact mph with 4.10 gears.

Re: Procharger setups? - 11/16/13 04:09 AM

^^^very nice^^^ Any problems with it running cool with the I/c in front of the radiator? How much boost, power? I like how you did your fuel regulator

Re: Procharger setups? - 11/16/13 04:37 AM

P1sc on a 6.1 HEMI in my Challenger. It was easy compared to the TTI install lol.

Re: Procharger setups? - 11/16/13 04:45 AM

So I have a question for you boost junkies, what is the smallest Procharger that can be cog driven? I am assuming its a F1R, but curious.
Posted By: FastmOp

Re: Procharger setups? - 11/16/13 04:55 AM

My P1has a cog on the back. But it has a jackshaft and a serpentine belt from the jackshaft to the crank.
You know my challenger is packing somthing when you cruz sonic. The cog is loud and strait cut gears are too. It's fun to watch people get worried lmao

I had a year of taking my son to rep lacrosse tournaments last year and did not get it to the track.

The intercooler runs fine on the street but an air to water would be better and more consistent.

Thanks on the fuel routing, tried to hit as much as possible. but there is still plumbing and wiring everywhere

Re: Procharger setups? - 11/23/13 12:11 AM

I know what you're saying, seems like no matter what you do there's wires and hoses and fuel lines everywhere. But you did make your engine bay look pretty clean in my opinion The reason I asked about the I/c is because I run my a2a in front of the radiator and my motor runs hot. Probably switching to a w2a this winter, that will help a ton I think with the overheating. Going to try to mount the I/c under the dash if I can get it to fit.

Re: Procharger setups? - 11/23/13 12:23 AM

Had some overheating problems too, not too bad but stop and go is a challenge.

Re: Procharger setups? - 11/23/13 12:47 AM

I haven't drove mine much on the street :-( but at the track we have to do a 12 mile cruise to run in the class I do and at the end its over 200 degrees

How do you like the Fast efi? Was it easy to install and get running? How about tuning? I'm interested in efi but I'm not computer savvy, kinda has me worried about screwing something up with it.

I had someone I know do the initial setup. It is different and a learning curve, but the ignition control and fuel control is very flexible and impressive.
