Nice day at the track for me.

I got back to the track today as I raced at Cecil County in Md in an NSS race. I have not really done anything to the car and it ran the same as my best 3 passes in a row. Yep 10.76 three times in a row as it was consistent today for sure. Thats running 92 pump thru the full exh driving the 90 mile round trip. I won the first round against a sweet Roadrunner with a 10.76 on my 10.75 dail and then had to run my brother in his 9 second Cuda the second round. I ran 10.76 again on my 10.75 dail as he ran 9.32 on his 9.29 dail but he killed me on the light as I went .078 to his .012. I will admit I am a little rusty on the tree but I had a ton of fun and nothing broke and I drove it home. So all in all was a good day. I think my niece took a video of my brother and me racing but I have to wait for her to send it to me. Ron

Ron - Glad to hear that. Wish we could of made it, but we got back late Saturday night and didn't feel like venturing out early Sunday morning. We are done for the year. Car is going into hibernation.

Yes MPH was the same and very consisdent as it ran between 124.27 to 124.89 every run. I wanted to jet up but the jetting is nice where it is for street driving and I did not feel like doing any work on the car unless I really had to as I had already taken my pain meds and my back was still hurting. My plans are to try the Mopar 337 single plane intake and a Dominator carb when I can get around to it. Ron
