What cam (duration) are your running in you 408/416 ? and what ET ??
I run:
255/263 at .050 1.39 60', 6.55 1/8 mile

my old 416 was a solid roller 268/272@ .050 .690 lift 9.76 at 138 in a 3000lb car.

Small solid roller, 248/254 duration, .576/.582 lift, pump gas street car, 3200 lbs, 6.81 @ 99.7 in the 1/8 (high 10.70's in the 1/4).

254/254@.050, .748lift w/1.70 rockers, its a hughes HER5454AS its on lob sep. 106*/instaled 103*, my engine is only a 366cu. but puts 728hp to the ground,this is a circle track dirt car, jusy bad ass fast,puts the hamer to a lott 421 junk-a-lays

408", 260/264 @ .050, .628/.633 flat solid, 6.57, 1.38 60' at 3260# on pump 93 and 4.10 gears.

Old Crane SS solid roller. 276/282 @ .050 and net lift with lash and 1.6 rockers is .698/.714. 408, W5's and 2-750's on a M1 TR. Probably not an ideal cam but it was only $75.00 with only 10 dyno pulls on it.

Just putting the finishing assembly on a 410 for my 73 Dart Sport. It's got a Comp Solid Roller 269/276 @ .050 with .698/.698 w/ 1.6's. Hope to run in the 9.70 range!

got a 408 with ported eddy heads, with KB icon 744 pistons and scat I beam rods, Cam is a hughes 264/268 flat tappet with crane gold rockers...
Engine is still on engine stand...
question.. but would/could you drive this grind with this cubic inch combo on the street? Behaviour?
