Bare Stage V Hemi head pricing? - 10/13/13 10:53 PM
Now that my friend is ready for a pair of heads for his Hemi build I suggested he go with a pair of the Stage V replacement Hemi heads to start off with. I can't seem to find what they normally go for today.
Any one know more or less? Maybe some one from FHO or Stage V itself can chimmey in?

You can buy direct from Stage V Engineering at that price, I talked to them about buying direct and they sent a price list of all there parts.

The problem is the ports aren't done at that price and they don't do them so you will be going to another shop to have them completed. To save double shipping you can buy them from the shop that is going to complete them for you. I know its a hassle but Stage V's are worth it.

Are the ports rough or just as cast?
I might be wrong but, He might not be interested in them being CNC ported in order to get more velocity in a street motor.
So since Stage V may not do any additional machining, maybe I'll direct my friend to FHO or Best machine in Detroit. Maybe they can set it up the way he needs.

Shipping is a cost concern, you're correct there for sure. It cost me $300 I think to ship mine to FHO for porting this year. The shipping company lost them for awhile too, I would have slept easier just buying them from Tim and had him ship them to me when they were finished. I think he buys them by the pallet too.

shipping should be considered in the cost. also insurance. I'm selling quite a few parts and losing due to my incurred cost. not ranting,Just saying customer gets a quote and doesn't figure in the cost.

what everyone is saying is correct, buy them from the shop that you want them done by, ported, ready to go.
i got mine from tim banning at FHO, couldn't be happier with the service or the final product!

I bought mine from Tim B. when I bought my block and other parts. But, I sent them to MCH for porting.
Bob Mazolini has them, but I think you have to call for pricing.
