Hand porting cnc indy heads - 09/08/13 01:04 PM

440-1 345cnc with 2.25 int valve size how much have you gained by having them hand ported. This is a race only 470 engine turns around 8000-8500 for rules i have to use the -1 heads

That is going to depend entirely on how good the cnc job and original valve job was. If they were mine, I would find out who is super sharp in the porting business, and gets the most out of stock/superstock type heads. My reasoning is that the valve job is extremely important in overall head flow, and they will know what to look for in working with your engine/head combo.
