C E Rear Shocks - 08/30/13 12:05 AM

I have the 3 way adj rear shocks on my car and was just wanting to know what diference can the adjustment make? The shock when it extends is not adjustable is it?These ones were set to as firm as they go many years ago and I was just thinking if it may help the 60ft time to adjust them? These shocks feel like they extend easy but are firm to compress.

If you cant control the extension rate they are useless

Our Rear Drag Shocks are also adjustable in three ratios: 30/70, 40/60 and 50/50. These ratios also represent the percentage of force required to compress and extend the shock unit. Only this time the first number is compression and the second extension. These shocks also adjust by compressing them fully and rotating to the desired setting on the body.

It looks like you may not have them set at 50/50.

Had CE 3 ways all around on my 9 secDuster. Thought they worked great, very consistant.
Mine worked best with left rear loosest, and right rear stiffest, with 002/003 leafs, fronts at 90/10. Later changed to 80/20, which helped control wheelstands better
