It's a street truck - but it goes to the track once in awhile.

Awesome truck. Details please. Can you get a manual rack for the 3rd gen Dakota? What do they weigh? What size tire are you running without having to do any cutting?

Thanks!
I'm still running the power steering. I've heard talk of manual racks - but never seen a supposed manual rack from a '97 that's been reported. No cutting for tire clearances. Both front and rears now 29" tall. You could make one quite a bit lighter if you were making it a race only vehicle. I still want my ice cold AC and stereo.

Here is the full list of specs:

Best pass so far was a 10.61 @ 133 mph with a horrible 1.7X something 60'.
Last pass down the track was a 10.72 @ 126 mph with a 1.43 60' time on much less boost. The coulda, woulda, shoulda line is that turning the boost back up should net a pretty low 10-second timeslip. I'll believe it when I have the slip. LOL

Couple pictures from mine. Been 10.70 on the first run on nitrous. Next run i put to much air in and spun, never had a chance to take it out again after tweaking the tune. Went 11.25 on motor. 440 small block with a 727. Has more in it, but the motor is really low compression 9:1, was originally supposed to be a turbo motor.

I do have manual steering on it. Its a flaming river rack with adapters and the control arms have heim joints at the control arms.
