I know that it is early but who is coming? I think that my 64 will be there with Big Jim Rickman at the wheel!! So come up and get some of this,Longhair!! I do not know if I will be there. It all depends when my upcoming surgery is scheduled.

Last year we almost needed ice skates! I told Scott Gardner that him and Dan should move the date up to after the et finals. Guess I wasn't the only one!!

Bigdad...I don't know how fast your car is but they allow a tranny brake in Pro/no box. I think they may allow a brake in sportsman for this race,I think et cutoff is 12.50. You will have to check the website for rules. Jimmy....Thanks for running my car for me.

I will bring a bottle of Crown for the victory win!!

I would like to make it but it is the last race of the season at our track. I was there two years ago and had a good time so kind of torn on where to go. I really want to support this event, it sure seems like it has potential to be a big show and race event.

We will be pitted just north of the concession stand in the J&C Racing spot. Anyone interested in a cookout and BS session? I know Russ likes to eat and maybe shoot the bull!!

Ted, 493Dart is not coming, says it's too stressful for his car to run a full 1/4 mile. Looks like I'll be running the Valiant on Saturday. I'll fill in for him if you think that '64 lead sled is up to the challenge!

Red Valiant,Orange Dart...It don't matter. I knew he wouldn't take a shot at my junk with the new heads.

He is gonna miss a good supper and as much as I hate to say it, it may be a looong time before I see you guys again. We will race,eat,shoot the bull and have a great time!!

Sorry Ted that I couldn't make it this year, but we'll see one another one more time again. I never forgot the time I asked you if I could pit next to you by the rope swing tree. After all that's where the magority of Mopar's were and you welcomed me with open arm's. Our drag racing talk then turned into your sweet corn crop...remember? I see from your new sig that you must be a fan of James Taylor like me. This is for you my friend.

Thanks,Jerry! Always enjoyed that song. Needless to say....My sweet corn took a beating this year while I was in the hospital.

And I never met a fellow Mopar racer that I didn't get along with! Weather looks good today,I hope we can get into the 9s!!

We had a pretty good day.

I got to meet a few members and we had great weather and a decent turnout. This show is going to keep getting bigger and better!! We did not get our 9 second pass.
