6 Point Roll Bar NHRA legal ET? - 08/07/13 08:32 PM

How fast can you legally run with a roll bar. I haven't bought a rule book in a couple years. I heard that you can now run 9.50 et with a bar and at 9.49 et you need a cage. Is this correct?

I beleive 9.99 and quicker is the NHRA cage requirement. 10.00 and slower with a stock floorboard (except for rear wheel tubs)and firewall is the roll bar rule. Call NHRA tech to make sure NHRA did lower the ET for roll bars several years ago from 11.99 and quicker to 11.49 and quicker

That 9.50 was for selected modern production stockers
that can run faster than 10.0 but it has to be left stock
