Class cars are always welcome,we need cannon fodder for the Bracket cars. If there is no class for any car we can make one up.

The first flier says $20.00 or $30.00 for weekend pass.

I'll try to make it but can't promise anything at this time. If I do I'll be bringing the Charger

Bill
However the barracuda needs some serious chassis work before it blows the back window out and spit's out the 8.75

Car was only built to run 11's back in the '80's and now low 10's with high 9's capability

Wish the time and cash was there to make it all happen. I want that 9 second slip

Re: Curt George Race at Quaker City - 08/05/13 06:10 AM

Just went to Quaker City for the Buckeye S/SS race Saturday. The track hook is great. Should be a good event.
Speaking of the mopar race...I have a few questions:

Is the "wedge" class "max wedge"?

If so, is it going to be run by index or dial in?

Finally, is that payout for each day?

Thanks!

Re: Curt George Race at Quaker City - 08/07/13 08:54 PM

Just wanted everyone to know this. E-mailed the owner of Quaker city about setting up on Thursday. He told me this was fine with them. So if anyone wants to get there during the Thursday test & tune gates open at 5pm. Just wanted everyone to get this heads up if they are traveling a long distance or whatever. See everyone there next weekend.
Thank You, Ken Michalik

Jeff last year they did it dial to the closest "0". Max wedge/ wedge class (62-65) and then the seperate hemi class.

Re: Curt George Race at Quaker City - 08/12/13 03:38 AM

Friday is open to all makes (not Mopar only) and is a test and tune night with a gamblers race. We can get into the track starting at noon time Friday and I think the regular program starts around 6pm. Then Saturday/Sunday is all Mopar.

Sure hope we have a great turnout for this event
