The 484 pump gas Hemi is starting to come around.... - 07/29/13 03:00 AM

Finally got some good solid passes out of it this weekend...I still think I am down on Hp more than I want to be, but I got a 10.84 at 124.7 out of it...1.51 60ft still spinning...It was street car night TNT and they had water almost to the line. Was lucky it hooked that good. Started out with a 10.90, but hit the rev limiter on the shifts. Its a really old 7k chip and is way off as I was know where near 7k. Put a 7300 in it, bam 10.88....Last pass switched to the BIG squirters and 10.84....

Now I need to find a fiber glass shaker hood and drop another 1/10 off my ET...

Looks good. How do you get away with having the regulator mounted on the firewall? No EFI on this version?

I have a JW sheild on it, and they were Ok with it. When I run EFI, the place where the regulator is now becomes a Y-block and the regulator is on the back of the intake. I left it so I could switch back. If I do, I would like to upgrade to XFI 2.0....

Well, no new hood for the "Sunday at Niagara" Nostalgia weekend this weekend....

Called AAR this morning and they want 10-12 days to make the hood before shipping it. None in stock. Figured if I put a FG shaker hood on it and sealed the carb to it, I would get 1/10 out of it...Guess I should have bought one sooner.
