Matt and I are planning on going out for Friday's qualifying and some sportsman racing and coming home Friday night so we can race at PRP Saturday. How's the weather looking?

The gang from Oil City, Pa will be there !!!!!! On Friday we will be with Blake Alexander ( Friend of a Friend type deal ) Sunday watching the races ( Champion 2B- Row R - Seats 15 - 20 ) Thanks Dave................

Going down Saturday morning with 10 family members. My son Frank is the rod and piston specialist for the Optima Batteries Top Fuel Dragster, Kalitta Motorsports.

I will be in sec 3 up front The weather could go either way but they are good at drying the track so no problem.I will have a yellow JEGS hat on.

******* Retraction .....Just spoke with Tom and they made the decision not to make the trip.....probably a smart one.....at the very least if they get the show completed by tomorrow....the revised schedule has the sportsman hot-lapping major bigtime

Friday was GREAT. A little rain in the morning while I was walking the pits then side by side qualifying. Got home at 12:50am.

This old fart had to drive the 200 miles back home while the 24 year old was in the passenger seat snoring away. Oh and I also drove the 200 miles out.
I have to fess-up thou. I didn't make it to the race track Saturday. 88 degree weather on back to back days with high humidity was to much for the "old man". Matt made it long enough to destroy his 8 3/4 rearend. Oh well he has some work to do this week.
