It is a 499 that was built by Adkins Engine & Head Service out of WV. Hemmy is a very good builder and has been racing 4 speeds in Super Stock for 30+ years. Damon from Diamondback Engines built the carbs.

There is a lot of adjusting to be done on the Afco shocks and front end travel, but got caught by rain. We are going to try to test in the next couple weeks. A four speed on mono leafs is a challenge but can be accomplished with testing.

I can't take credit for that pass, that was Sam from DRI making sure the car didn't do anything crazy.

Looks like all the hard work paid off and now the fine tuning begins. Hopefully I'll get to see it in person somewhere this year.

Yes sir, starts with the 1st hit ..

My area, has been hit with big rain, day after day so far , tracks are green

Just getting a hit is a challenge so far

we have rained out at least 10 dates

Looks good, can't wait to see it work right , neat ride !!

Congrat's Greg on finally getting it done and running.
It has been a LONG time since you started on it after getting rid
of the RR. I miss our days in the Muscle street class.

Maybe we will see you at Josh's race.
Take Care, David

60' -- 1.422
330'-- 4.269
1/8 -- 6.595
MPH -- 105.23
1/4 -- 10.302
MPH -- 133.15

There is room for improvement in the 60' time which will equate to quicker 1/8 and 1/4 mile times. The fun begins with all the fine tuning!
