B & M externally balanced flex plate for 73 340?

Hey there, was going to buy the B&m flex plate part #10235 for 340 cast crank external balance but lists for 340/727 and I am using the 904. It does have dual pattern torque converter in 10 inch and 11.125 inch, part #10234 is for the 340/904 but is no longer available. My question would be is the dual pattern so you can use a 904 or 727? Of course the B&M tech line has no idea.

Simple answer...

If the bolt pattern matches your converter and no issues with starter clearance (grind a little on starter if necessary) it works.

Only difference is the overall diameter from the 904 and 727 listings.

Thanks, I can deal with a little grinding on the starter if need be.

Some people have reported starter interference with the outer rim of the flexplate when using the 727 flexplate on a 904.
