Hemi hood scoop plug

Any body make a hood scoop plug for their 68 dart/barracuda style hood scoop? I am going to take on the task of building one, looking for any sort of guidance or examples I can find.

I hot knifed my old one out of foam rubber.
Plugged the hole on the way and back from the track on a open trailer just fine.
I took my time and it even looked pretty good. if I don't say so myself!
That was a while ago i would think someone has a piece that you can buy now.

I cut 2 pieces of foam so they would fit tight inside the A12 roadrunner hood. My wife(ex) sew little cases out of cotton and then sewed them closed once the foam was in. She also connected the 2 halfs with a cotton rope.

This picture was taken in the mid-80s. Moving into a new garage..

Sounds like a trip to the fabric/ craft store is in order.

I made a plug for my scoop... foam rubber and slowly
hit it on a belt sander to final shape it... roughed
it in with a course hack saw blade
