Doug's D452-R w/Indy EZ's

Doug's D452-R w/Indy EZ's - 04/17/13 01:52 AM

I'm looking to buy some 2" headers for what will be an RB stroker with Indy heads. Got the heads, blocks to choose from and a 69 Body for it to go into.

Just wondering if any folks here have any experience with the Doug's D452-R headers specifically. I want to get the "raw" uncoated ones due to price and I can get them coated locally too.

It will run a 727, manual steering/brakes too.

Plug clearance is a major concern.

I know, I know, I should just buy TTI's and be done with it right?!?!

There are a couple of members that have those headers on their 64/65 cars with the EZ heads and the fit and finish is great. I would guess the same could be said for later years???? Nice headers for the $$$ and very comparable to TTI's.

I have dougs on my rb stroker with ez heads in 69 b-body. Wouldn't trade them for anything!

The best set of headers I have ever used and the finish is still looking good

OK, thanks guys.
Got a motor plate, but going to use solid mounts for now. Hoping either will work.
The setback for the motor in a 62 to 65 is pretty different.
