Help selecting a wideband - 03/25/13 11:24 PM
We want to tune my friends 418" six pack motor.
I'm looking for a wideband that can output A/F and RPM to a laptop for datalogging. I dont need it for a permanent install.
Any advice?

I have one Accel wideband comes with Drive line speed sensor two wideband sensors and two controllers. The one controller was ver 1 had to give it the ohms value for the sensor never did work write but I'll throw it in $350 for all of it. Went with Racepak is why I’m selling it.

Thanks but I'm hoping to get something that can feed from an inductive clamp or tach output.
Anyone else?

I don't know of any wide bands out there that do RPM.
I have an AEM wide band gauge that outputs a 5v signal (on sale at summit for $157 right now). I just hooked up with an Innovate Motorsports SSI-4 ($129) to log through the laptop
(which I also use to log boost, rpm, fuel pressure, and intake air temp).
You could get an LM-1 from innovate and hook it to an ssi-4 if you only wanted a temporary install... but wouldn't be much cheaper if at all.

I use the FAST dual sensor along with the upgrade on my engine dyno every day. The upgrade includes an inductive clamp and a tachometer wire pickup . The inductive pickup is kind of cheap, but the tachometer read works good. When you do the upgrade package it lets you read the the playback in 1/2 of real time which is pretty handy. I am using mine to get pretty accurate readings for doing emulsion circuit tuning right now and couldn't be happier with it.

I have had both the fast and the innovative and prefer the innovative.

AEM only!! 2 wire hookup. Clean simple. Works
Perfect
Innovate is very ground. Sensitive!!!!!
I trusted my 16psi 30 total true 11.0 cr e85 engine
To AEM!!!
