Lubriplate No.105 assembly lube ? - 02/13/13 12:24 PM

Guys, did anyone of you use such a product on engine assembly grease like Lubriplate No.105 ?
As I need to install camshaft (hyd.flat tappet) today and cant get "special" camshaft lube so quickly then I thought to ask you can I cover camshaft lobes with this Lubriplate No.105 lube and use engine brake-in oil additive later when it`s time to fire it up?

Thats not for cam lobes. I use High temp moly (black)grease for the lobes and bottom of the lifters.

Yes I have used it as engine pre lube many times. My old boss used it on everything including many engine rebuilds.
Not on the cam of course.

I would look for a moly based lube for the cam. Lot's wheel bearing grease is moly based.
