Although it could have been a tad better I keep hearing we earned this so today I guess I made it official for this coming year. I know we dont have many divisional racers here but hopefully all can appreciate the effort.

Just thought I would share it with my Mopar bretheren, been here a long time and call many here freidns. They all played a roll in us getting here. Even if they dont know it. Pretty happy about what we did actually. This was the first year we ran the entire division schedule and to finish second is something I am proud of. Hopefully we can make it a 1 next year but if not we made a run at it and will see what the future brings.

Just want to say thanks to ALL of the members of this website. Without you guys to whine too about our trials and tribulations I am not sure this would be possible. So THANKS GENTS!!!

Great job Al!! See you in Phoenix, 2 races 1 weekend. Sorry I won't make the PSCA race in Feb. Have to work Pamona then Phoenix. I guess the MATS will be the first time me and the car will see you.

Thanks for the replies guys. I am sincere in what I am saying. many here have helped more than they know. Either by listening to my issues or just talking to me about their experiences. I know sometimes I dont seem like I am paying attention but I hear everything that is being said when you guys are talking. Either here or at the track.

Oh yeah Ron nice to see you doing more than just lurking around here:) I am holding you to the MATS deal. We need to see that awesome hotrod of yours there, plenty of races happening here for those few weeks. Phoenix will be a threesome for me Seeya in the lanes

First number indicates division,second number is where he finished.
Heck of a job Al.The super categories are soooo tough these days.Way to represent the mopar crowd well.Congrats!

As mentioned above. NHRA has 7 divisions. If you finish in the top 9 of your division in your class , you have the option of carrying a 2 digit number the following year. The first number being your Division, the second being your position in the previous years points standings.
Single digit competitors are guys who finished 1-9 in the National standings. But, since SuperStreet doesn't compete for a National Title, a 2 digit number is as good as it gets!

Congratulations again, and thank you for putting the number on your car! As you know, I put a strong effort into that class for about 5 years straight and the best I managed was a 13th place finish for a season. More than one guy who finished 5-9th would come back the next year, and just keep his regular number, and I always felt like that was spitting in the face of every competitor who finished lower in the points! Someday I hope to be able to take a shot at a two digit number again.
