You should state what type of cam... hyd, flat tappet
or a roller... ramp rates would sure help also

I have used from 110 lbs on the seats with 325 Lbs. open pressures on small lift cams like your asking about and I have used 175 lbs. on the seat with 425 lbs. opened, that was on a race cam for a 418 C.I. W2 headed pump gas small block street and srip with NASCAR lobes, we had to break the cam in with the inner springs removed, 130 lbs. on the seats and 300 lbs. opened for 30 minutes efore adding the inner springs 
That cam was nitrided also Find out who made the cam and call them

i used to run a 535 lift flat tappet cam & used Comp Cams 930 springs. they were 153lbs on the seat. they worked well for that cam for me, never any sign of valve bounce on the locks.

130 seat and 330 open. Would like to try a little more.
