Re: rod side clearance,proper torquing,pinion angle,which , - 12/24/12 01:47 AM

Should I run a windage tray?

I've installed a cam that's too big and my idle mixture screws don't change the idle even with 5 degrees of initial timing...it also dies/drops 1,000rpm when put into gear...What's wrong with my carb, it used to run great on the stock motor???

How much ET will I gain by going from 3.55's to 3.91's??

Are spark plug wires worth any horsepower?? Should I run Castrol Syntec, Splitfire plugs and Rhoads lifters??

I want a cam with a lot of "lope," which one should I run?

There are guys in the 7's on Drag Radials but my 12 second car won't hook with them even with Super Stock springs and a pinion snubber....

My car won't get into the 8's but I KNOW it's not down on power....what else could it be and if I don't like your answers I'll delete all my posts....(and BTW, I'll spend years and thousands of dollars trying everything and anything to prove the motor has plenty of power....)

How much is too much timing?

I own the greatest nitrous Mopar street car in the world and I tune it myself but if someone suggests I change my tuneup I do and burn my crap up....Would you guys please donate to me so I can afford to go on Dragweek again and make you proud to know me??

My special hatred is reserved for those who know just enough to detail a very specific and expensive build, and need some predictions.
After wasting everyone's time (not mine, because my gay-dar is excellent on these squids) they thank everyone, and post a completely different question.

After a few repetitions it dawns on the remaining participants that the OP:
1. is 15
2. lives in his Mom's basement
3. has no car
4. or money
5. but likes to be taken seriously - which is something he couldn't possibly do in person
