This is a first......

Ordered Howards hydraulic roller lifters from scummit, they had them, got them to me fast!, but no papers in the really nice package they came in, no preload specs, no nothing at all, just a nice lookin set or roller lifters.

I guess Ill call Howards this afternoon....

I fail to see how this is 'scummits' fault...

Never said it was scummits fault, Just got off the phone with Howards, and they said it should be .060-.080 on pushrod preload, so Thats what Ill do.

He also said they dont put papers in the packaging. Might be on the cam card. I got a Howards cam aslo.

Customer deal here, and he went with Scummit. His carn number, so I guess that how he wanted it.

I like Jegs, they do not take FOREVER like this did.

Here's my take on that............

Not Summits fault. They're just the distributor. Howards should have had that minimal info in the packaging. Instead of paying for the piece of paper and manpower to print/package it..........you get to pay the phone bill. Summit's caught in the middle.
