Manual steering gear box question.............???????

Curious as to what grease/lube you guys put in the manual boxes. Mine was rebuilt years ago but is starting to bind up a bit and seems low on lube.............thankxxx............

I think a lot of guys pump them full of grease since the oil just leaks out.

That`s what I origionally did but it has been slightly leaking over the years so maybe some synthetic grease............. thankxxx

Use 90 wt in mine, but they never leaked. Grease would be the proper choice if they do.

I`ll mess w/it tomorrow just to make sure that`s the binding tight wheel I`ve been feeling last couple times out cruisin around.........

Grease and 90 wt gear oil heated out blend together.

any lube with moly added will help reduce resistance
