I decided to meet Wafflebatter at Thompson for a gamblers race Saturday since the weather was looking good. Anyway...I've been running the car on the launch control because of...well..lets just say BGR built a motor with a bit to much power for my ride without an anti-roll.. The car is still running a 850 Holley and would no doubt benefit from a dominator.

So...it ran a 8.95 @ 148 off the trailer I was .005 ..second TT I lifted when it got a bit loose at the 1/8th mile. On to the Gamblers....all six of us ..First round it ran a 8.94 @ 149 with me -.0005 red on the tree...he was dialed 9.71 and left about a half an hour early giving me the win ..I drew the buy for the final and parked it. In the final I got the right lane which I hadn't been down and it left hard..well aas hard as it does set up soft. I picked up two in the 60ft and lifted before the 1000ft...I was .010 to his .040 and caught him quickly when his fuel pump belt fell off. I figure it would have been a low 8.91...

I think this car will run 8.70's or maybe .60's with the right carb and the anti-roll

Rumor at the shop is your scared of it With a good carb and proper tuning and some suspension mods we are all thinking mid to low eights.

Congrats but really a 850 carb I guess you didnt want to go faster ! Iam with BG on this. Put a SV-1 on it now !

There's a 1050 and antiroll bar setting at the shop,you have no excuse except we don't have a chicken or kitty icon. Donny said he will show you his "big pair".When he made is first full pass in the blower car,we asked how it felt,he shrugged his shoulders,"it was ok"

Thanks folks....the 60ft. was only 1.27 and change on the last hit..it's been 1.21 with the 512 off the launch control. I figure it's good for sub 1.20 60's when it's sorted out. ...Bob..better watch it...we can shoehorn you in the little green go-cart

You might get me in,but you can't make me go down the track.Donny asked me if I wanted to drive the 65.I told him go find himself.I've driven those short wheelbase cars with big power years ago I sometimes need that poultry icon for myself.
My biggest problem is I'am always nervous in the stagging lanes but when the lights come down I get really stupid.

Ted,I'd bust his balls but poultry and kittys nuts are so small I would not be able to find them or a nut cracker small enough.But Maccoroni,Twinky Butt is a tough racer and we are glad to have him in the BGR family.Besides that he can't be all that bad,he likes dogs.
Eric say hi and give Sadie and "Bad Bob" a pat on the head for me.

He borrowed a new set from me,he will return them after he trys them out for the next 4 or 5 seasons.

If he's looking for a SV1 Randy Duncan that runs the beautiful 68 barracuda at PRP (8.40-8.50's) and all the Mopar races has one for sale. He sent it back about 3 times trying to get it set up for his application and gave up. Runs faster with the 1150 dominator.

Your my hero At Monster Mopar(Indy) last year a couple of good looking gals came up to me while I was cleaning the 65 blower cars windows and asked me for a my autograph.Beaming with pride I accomodated them,they walked away with a puzzled look on their faces and I heard them say he's not Donny Martik as they threw my signed flyer in the trash can.

That's the way BG builds racecars "off the trailer point and shoot" tell him to build a mid 10s car and you get high 9s. I think there is something wrong with his math. By the way BG you better give Max his share of the ice cream cups,I think you been holding out on him,he is wasting away to nothing at 210 lbs. Mike

I use the "new math" always be concertative and let the performance speak for it's self.Usually when someone ask me how fast will it run,I tell them they will know after they make the first pass or my general words"you will be pleasently surprised".Mike your car was built with leftover takeoffs. and Max is getting to be a"picky" eater in his old age.This month he is on a turkey craze and won't eat even topshelf Alpo.
