If my math is correct, (barring a national ET record being set by Jason Line) with one round of qualifying in, the championship is sealed for Allan Johnson and Mopar! The most points that Line can GAIN on AJ now stands at 119. AJ has (at this point) a 127 point lead. For a National ET record to be set, you would need to run 6.476 and a back up of at least 6.540. They need to pick up .025 sec just for a back up and almost .100 sec for the record.
That run in the first round of qualifing should do it!

IIRC, if he makes a qualifying hit and it puts him in the field, it's basically a done deal. Even if he doesn't qualify, it's an uphill battle for Line.

Before Line does anything, He's up 126, gets 10 for a qualifying hit, makes it 136, then 20 for first round loser put him at 156 before any bonus points for session et leader or ladder placement. Line can score a MAX of 150 points at the event.
