Chance of a lifetime. NHRA Pro Stock or NASCAR event - 10/14/12 01:32 AM

You've been given an opportunity to compete in one or the other.

In NHRA you went rounds in Pro Stock and made it to the finals at INDY, and you won.

In NASCAR you ran a great race and won DAYTONA.

Which is it for you? For me, DAYTONA.

Oh yeah, and both were chevy's.....

Daytona, hours of adreneline vs the 8 times at under 7 seconds.

True a Daytona win will pay enough to play in Pro-Stock...

Where as an Indy win would allow you to get a set of tires and an old engine...

Neither,why think small. Indy 500 for an oval race and Monaco GP for an F1 race. Either one will put you on a world stage. Indy will also still let you have Chevy power. Well Chevy's name anyway, engine is made by Ilmor.

Trophys don't float my boat, but the $ from a Daytona win will buy a lot more garage goodies than any Pro Stock win.

Have always wanted to go for a ride in a ProStock. I went for a ride in a slow roundy round pavement car. I told the guy I was a drag racer and he tried to impress! NOT. It would take a late model or a Nascar car to probably make it worth the ride. later matt

Pro Stock. I walked away from involvement in roundy "racing" thirty five years ago....no desire at all to do it again. None at all.

Pro Stock no question. But, to be smart and this means we can keep the money then I would win Daytona. Then just remembered as the guy that won Daytona, told everyone in interviews how much I hate Nascar, and funded his whole drag racing career with the winnings. It would be an epic hit and run.
