RIP Firebird Raceway in Phoenix, AZ - 10/10/12 06:33 AM

Well looks like D7 will be loosing another track next year. It appears the indians have decided not to renew the lease onb Firebird. So as of 31 March 2013 it will be no more. But it sounds like maybe they will try and run the track themselves. It is a shame we are loosing tracks right and left out here...

Can only hope one of them pans out..

Charlie isn't the only one who wants to build a new track here..

Wow,that sucks,,know the feeling,when LACR was closed,it changed things around here quite a bit,place to run,hang with friends,local businesses were effected,,including the speed shop I work at here.
I hope things change,and the Indians hire someone to run it.

Assume the Nats will still take place on Feb 22-24 ??

As per Chuck..

They are going to race the NHRA National and double divisional..

Also, they will race the full Team Firebird races so they can have a team for Vegas next year..

All before April 1st..
