CONGRATS TO DARTIN!!!!! (RANDY JOHNSON) - 09/18/12 01:23 PM

He didn't win any money at Norwalk this past weekend with his Dart Sport..but,got his feet wet with a new '540' stroker..built by Sean Meyers,formerly of Best Machine! The "Gold Digger" ran the numbers he was looking for..especially without using his trans brake. 9.70's @ 138..with 1.36-1.38 short times! I'm glad all that hard work..and saving up for the new bullet paid off for him!

Randy's a GREAT guy..and I'm VERY HAPPY for him!

that mph looks real promising unless it`s not hooking which looks to not be the case.

Front wheels off the ground on every run..1.38 short times will work!

Trying to catch all my friends runs was virtually IMPOSSIBLE!

...but,I tried! Thank God my friend and I rented a golf cart for the weekend!

Thanks guys. The best pass of the weekend was a 9.73@140 mph. Really didn't get much of a chance to play with the tune. Should pick up with another jet change, maybe some air bleed changing, and chassis tuning. The car would come up fast on the bars and unload the tires a bit. Pulled hard to the left as well. Over the winter it will get a new cage and scaled. Should be a .5? in it and maybe a couple mph.

I just saw the YouTube vid. It looks like it hit the bars quickly then unloaded hard. Id guess itll reapond to front end limit, and adj.. the Wbars higher. In the pic the tires show maybe a little low psi. It has the mph now for 9.50's or so. I'd guess it'll do 50's soon with the mph for '30's until you get after some $hocks and tires minimum. Then it'll go 30's for certain.
