Your misery will be refunded at the door and you'll can throw apples at me later, but lets at least try and support this coming weekends event at Englishtown being that Mother Nature is also supporting.
I'm going both days to do just that,
Are we game or are we just Bench whiners.

I'd love to take my Duster there & to Atco, as it's from that region originally, as you probably know by now; but I need to put it back in its original livery first, and I'm about 3,000 miles away...

Re: Come on Guys, lets support our own event at E-town. - 08/24/12 06:04 AM

Is it the event, or the track, or the local economy that makes getting people to this event difficult.

I have been looking at doing a big event out east, but not knowing the area it makes me a little nervous

Re: Come on Guys, lets support our own event at E-town. - 08/24/12 11:49 AM

Josh, last year this event rained out on Sunday and it seems every year there is at least a chance of rain if not a shower at least once…

Fifteen to twenty years ago this event used to be packed all weekend long. BUT, there weren't mopar events at every track in the area back then.

The economy doesn't help.

With that said, unless I hurt something down at Atco on Saturday or Sunday rains out, I'll see everyone there on Sunday!

Even though, those idiot weather men now predict a little shaky forecast for the week end, I'm still going cause it's usually the first forecast that reveals itself and that was a clear week end for the most part.

Josh this whole year has been dead down here! alot of cars getting upgrades, the freakin heat and the cost all contribute...the best event for any class has been Shakedown @ etown..this has been the quitest yr i ever seen at the local tracks.
