What's up with the sparks shooting out of the of the bellhousing area of that sweet demon @ 1.46 secs in the video? Crank endplay problem chewing up flexplate bolts? It would be an auto trans unless it's a jerico or something right? So not just clutch wear with high torque slip?

Guys name is David Braxton. Him and his dad own a shop and live near the coast of NC. It has a 600" motor with 2 carbs, 2 foggers. The fastest I have seen him go is 4.88. We are going to the race at OBX this weekend and I'm sure he will be there.

It has a glide. That means he needs to work on the starter spacing.

Its a big chief motor isnt it Stephen?, i think the sparks are the starter gear going back into the convertor...happens on fast cars sometimes

isnt that Demon is a back-half/4link car? I spoke with the owner about a year and a half ago when I happened to be camping across from him on Ocracoke Island. They were just starting to try out small tires at the time.

pretty stout if thats on 28's I would think the car is under 3000lbs if thats all the head thats on it.
Im impressed....anything in the 4's on a small tire is flying....anything in the 4's is FAST period !

That was on 29's. I have seen him go 4.97 or so on 28's. I far as I have been told the car is closer to 2800lbs.

2 things, that track is way short! wonder they get those things whoaed up in time. 2. Not sure but wasn't there a red car llike that on here a while ago w/ a BBC in it? looks a lot like the same car.
