440 509 cam max flash stall?

If I can't get my rockers back so I can put in my 250/255 108 solid in my
440, the 509 has always been on my mind with stock type rockers
For now. My converter needs a restall and lennys getting the work
I havnt talked with him about the 509 but if you gave it the CR it wants
And gear etc. What could be the best track converter for it in my dart?
Let's assume 3500 race weight 300cfm heads pro parts 430s etc 4800?
My tci core is 9inch

I want a high 10 outta this thing my buddy karls scamp does it with

Check out this thread for my combo....I had a 5200 stall Coan behind it and it worked well. I'm sure Lenny will hook you up.

i started out with a 4200 behind my 440,509 cam.this was too tight.went to a 5200 - WAY better.this was with a 3.9 gear,went 4.1 even better.
i went a best of 11.12 at 3769llbs

Don't be scared, I find most people run too tight of a converter.

tex in my post u said u went 11.70's with the 509 cam,now u run low 11's with it?

Dart,
the 11.7,s was with 906 heads.
i now have stealth heads.took a little weight out,then put a dana in it - weight back in.Fitted better shocks and caltracs.New fuel system.
changed to a solid and have run 11.09
best with the 509 was 11.12
i think the heads may be maxed out in their current state or close to it.Car will mph high 119's but did a one off 121.3(with the 509)
