Which door would be lighter after lightening?

Which door would be lighter a pre crash beam door or post crash beam door after lightening both doors?

I am trying to decide if I should look at getting some pre-71 doors and lighten them or just go crazy on the ones on the car now.

I've never been able to get all the crash bar out but what was left couldn't have been more than a few pounds. A couple pounds won't make any difference.

Sledge, how about fiberglass, or carbon w/ lexan???

My 70' has glass/lexan.

To get the full crash bar out I had to pull the door
skin off and then cut the bar out... the pre crash
bar door would be lighter

I'd just cut the crash bar out. A cutoff wheel will go a long way at getting them out.
