Tubes or tubeless? If tubeless I would probally start high, say nine lbs and see what the car does, feel the tires after the first pass to see if there rough all the way across or just in the middle If rough all the way across, it may take two or three passes to get it where you can feel it good with your fingertips lightly sliding across the tire The other thing is go by the time slip, pump it up until it spins and then go down in pressure until it slows down on the 60 ft. times, best 60 ft is the best air pressure

I run the 14.5/32 soft sidewall and don't run tubes. With a 3200lbs 9.40-50 car I run anywhere from 11-12 pounds depending on the track. M/T tires don't like to wrinkle excessively and like more air pressure. The more air pressure you can run the more stable to car will be on the top end.

also not enough air will kill 60ft. and reaction times!
I could never run 7-9 #, car to unstable at the start, and wonder all over the place on the top end,
we run 12.5 in the coronet with hoosiers tubless, but we did have MT and ran the same pressure!

Without knowing the weight you can start out with the
suggestions the guys have given and play with it
from there... M/T tires do like a bit more air but
being that your running tubes it will be a bit less
but its still going to be a test and see

interesting some of the claims of running 10 psi n higher. my very first set of MT 32x14's i ran at 10 psi, i found that although i still had depth dots on the sides of the slick, i was starting to see the fabric in the middle of the slick. basicly they were over inflated & wearing out at 10 psi. once i started running a lower pressure i could see more even wear across the surface. i'm running the stiff sidewall as thats the only type my local MT agent brings in to our country so it might be different to the soft sidewall. even so at 8 or sometimes 7.5 psi, my car is very stable @ the top end.

Rim size,is most likely the issue, to big of burn outs! jmo,
I have a 14" but wish I had a 15" with my 14 32 w
