It's not my problem if you have a over weight car,take a Blue Tip wrench to it and lighted it up some.
I'll let you line up with your rear tires and give you the hit.That should be worth over a 1,000 lbs and with my small Indy engine it should make it and even race.
Grudge Racing is put your $$$ up and "Run What Ya Brung" and hope you brung enough.

Are you that skeeeered of a 500" 2900+lb car that you so graciously give me a 10' head start and the move. Gosh what if I were to bring a 3400 pound car on little tires, what do I get then, 6 feet.
I have done the dragster thing, 7.0's with a SB
To bad we are so far apart I know where I can get a loaner piperack and we could make it happen.

All I can afford to race is a cheap Bracket dragster.
In T/D trim mine will run a couple of tenths faster than your SB dragster ran.
I make most of my $$$ working on the Grudge Racers cars and some times get to drive a few.

WOW 6.80's from an Indy motor. That is just about as fast as the Wheatcrafts have gone with thier BIG Predator motor. You must be doing something really well.

Race is off..gump high rolled me and i can't afford a $2,000.00 grudge race...being retired and liveing on a fixed income....I'd like to see him do what the bird does on a fixed income!..then again thats not his problem..bird gives up!

Once again...you still have not said anything about our $2,000.00 grudge race except that your going to be at the track.(duh) i knew that..and josh has not called me to say that you have given him your punk out money...I know what your doing your waiting to win the money saturday to put up...CAUSE YOU AIN'T GOT IT NOW...CAUSE IF YOU DID YOU WOULD OF GAVE IT TO JOSH ALREADY!!...did i mention that you suck at playing cards?...Its to late anyways told my brother inlaw that the race is off...were staying home and painting the bee(unless you wanna antie up the pot)...me sooooooooooo scared!!..should of put up your punk out money last week...birds racing does not evolve around you waiting to see if you can win some money,cause if your car would of broke during ur events...i would of sat all weekend for nothing..the punk out money was not for you beinging at monster mopar event..it was punk out money for not grabing a lane...i hope some mopar people can understand this...but i'm sure most won't...and i'm ok with that..cause most don't understand grudge racing...race safe this weekend.

first time i checked out the live timing so i'm not familiar with it. not that it matters but if i read it right he was #1 qualifier. i'm assuming they had a full field that bye was in the second round right? maybe breakage?

Saw Bird there, and he seemed very calm and collected. Struck me as a real decent sort.
I asked when the race was and he said " soon as he (Gup,I took it as) makes a pass. That was about 2 hrs ago. I had to leave,or I would have took a Vid. So I'm anxiously awaiting one too.

I waited as long as I could but got bored and left and headed for the doubletree parking lot. got some food, did some parking lot burnouts and came home. I'm burnt up from today.

Gup even bought a new shirt just for this race.
Sorry for being so vague, guys...I was posting from my phone and my battery was at 4% when I last posted....
From what I could see it looked like a good start...Gup got the jump and both cars were tied together all the way down the track...it appeared Gup won by about a car length..
I got to meet Josh and the owner of the Bird...Both are super nice guys....

Both of these guys did just what they said they would.They drove a long way and burned a lot of diesel,showed up with money in hand just to drive another 660 feet to put on a great show for all of us. I for one would like to thank the both of them for doing this.Two real men of there word.

i got a idea.lets do this grudge thing so people can see it happen.i waited allllllllllllll day saturday to see it go down.we saw the last two cars go down the track a little after nine pm.(I think)no mention of it going to happen so we left.other than that my st louis experence was the BOMB!! steve.
