Slowly ,Slowly. New Lickity Split progress - 05/24/12 12:39 AM

Lots of over time. I guess that's a good thing working for Chrysler. It can only be a positive thing towards the future, but 5:00 am comes early. Unfortunately that has hampered the racecar progress. But fear not, baby steps continue to be made. Her's the latest.

Every thing mounts on the plate and plugs in. The easier I make it to remove the less likely it will need to come out soon. everything is already wired in this pic.

Oil temp bung. One gauge for trans and oil temp. Toggle switch to change from one sender to the other. Going to Jake's tomorrow to drill and tap the carb's for a second fuel inlet.

Doug, your attention to detail never stops impressing me. Going to be too pretty to race though! Keep the progress pics coming!

Excellent workmanship, lots of clever thinking. Having the engine all one color looks so much visually cleaner than a bunch of colors, in addition to being easier to keep literally clean than cast surfaces.

That is going to be one of the nicest cars at the track when you get it there. I can't wait to see it in person.

Good projects take time to complete, perfect ones even longer.Your project is certainly in the "perfect" catagory.
