Small block camshaft endplay

With a hydraulic roller cam, what should the spec be? I thought it was .004"-.010", but not sure if I am mistaken. I am at .003" right now, wondering if it is too tight or not

So what do you guys think???

i have a solid roller with .004, ur good to go.

Isky rollerized button touching stock cover(big block)not that it matters................

Just for future reference, what is the acceptable spec minimum and maximum?

out of the comp cams book, .004 to .010. u will be ok at .003.
