FINALLY!!!......

Well...after 40 years of racing, I finally got that elusive "triple 0" light!!!
It was just one of those days where I had the tree in my sights.....02's, .03's and finally the triple zero's.Not my usual for sure! Still footbrakin'.
Spun like heck in the last round though....didn't get my lane choise.

and like they say... it was just a bad job of going red

I Actually had a .000 and it was registered a Red light??
It was a time trial so no big deal but I went to the tower and they said that happens sometimes. Rollout, light height, misc.
Ricky Adkins told me he has seen .002 red lights before.
I started racing in 84 and my 3rd pass ever was a .001 I was so Excited and they gave me a sticker for low RT of the day at Marion.

I had a .002 one time,ran right on my dial and got beat.The other guy ran a .001 and on his dial. What a drag race,that was so much fun my wife thought I was nuts for enjoying a loss, but that's great racing.
