What do your 68-69 barracudas weigh?

Im gonna build a 68 barracuda fastback and Im probably gonna build the motor first so I wanna know how much the cars normally weigh at race weight. Im shooting for 6.40 or 6.50 in the 1/8. So if you could let me know how much yours weighs and what you did to get it there. Im planning on back halfing and using ladder bars or 4 link with a dana. The front will be fiberglass for the most part. The motor will likely be a 400.

Mine is a pig! Stock floor with mini tubs, glass fenders, hood, bumpers, original tinted windows, still has dash , carpet, door panels, 12 point cage, filled RB with indy heads, wilwoods all around. Should be around 3125 now without me in it. Just lost a couple pounds up front this winter. Beep

Without my 100 lbs ballast and me it weighs right at 2500. Future plans call for a new front clip to get rid of the stock suspension and install Lamb struts and R&P. At least another 100+ will come off.

Both of mine weigh entirely to much

3250#'s as seen in my sig (with 170# driver). 6 pt bar, no fiberlgass, small block.

In the past few years I have switched to a fiberglass hood, added CalTrac mono's, light weight starter, and a few other things to loose weight, but I have not re-weighed the car...I'm guessing I'm probably about 3200#'s now (with driver).

Tube chassis, fiberglass hood = 3,100 lbs with driver.
