Mike..."BEST" Pro Stock race I can remember, was from some 38 yrs. ago...at old Detroit Dragway!...Dick Landy in his Dart Sport,squaring off against Ronnie Sox...in his Hemi Duster. NEVER will be able to top that! Those 2 were my favorites back then...with Don Carlton,and Butch Leal,not too far behind!

I'm with you ! Early 70s Pro stock was it !
BTW Milan has their Detroit Dragway Reunion on Saturday May 19th and they are having Nostalgia Pro Stockers doing an exhibition there.

Of course I LOVED watching Darrell Alderman do some treeing of Warren Johnson back in the 80's!!!!!

Mike...THANKS for that info on Milan! I'll have to get in touch with my friend,Mike Ricketts....see if he'll be running his Don Carlton-built Pro Stock Aspen out there that day! That should be fun,if they get more than a few old PS'ers out that day! BTW..Mike's paint scheme is pretty much the same as all the Missile's back in the day,and is called the "Macomb Missile" BEAUTIFUL restoration!
