I wont have the clearance for the -1 I hardley have room for the 0. With the 0 very hard to get tire off what a pain.I orig built the car with the ss springs.

Me too. I'd say -1 front, -2 rear haha. Probably will have oil pan issues being an A body though I'm guessing if it's a typical deep pan

Its gonna matter on how much torque you have... if
you have a ton of torque you can get away with the
back end being higher but even with a 408 you might
be short on torque.... but I dont like the back end
up in the air(personal thing... that went out a long
time ago)

Re: Race Car Stance (opinions needed) - 04/01/12 07:24 PM

I cant make the frt any lower I have 4in clearance oil pan and 3.5 for tranny pan. Its close in rear but I took the shocks off and bounce the rear pretty hard and nothing hit. If I go with the neg 1 everytime I have to take a tire off I will have to take shackles off.I have the zeros on now I guess I will leave them.Do these split monos sag after a while?
Thanks for all the kind words

Also... when you showed the back up... were you lifting
it on the rear end... didnt really see an difference
in the tire to wheel well

0...I like a little tuck...not in the weeds, but not stick bug...

What size you got on the back?

With the stock width axle, I just have to jack up by the body to slide the tires off

325 50 15 if I jack the body up its real tight but I can get on and off but a pain. The split monos dont let the rear hang that low .

Re: Race Car Stance (opinions needed) - 04/02/12 09:42 PM

Well for looks I prefer the 0 stance or -1. BUT what matters is having it where it works best. Unless looks are more importatn to you than winning rounds are. Then by all means have it sit whatever way you prefer.

Thanks
On the split monos you can replace the rear spring section and thats what raises the height on them.
