fuel cell ???? - 03/15/12 02:17 AM

What would you guys do with the fitting on the top of the fuel cell (blue one) in pic. Can this be capped off or does it need to vent through it? There is some kind of vent or valve in fuel cell cap. This is in the trunk of my duster and if I do not have to run hose in there I do not want to. Thanks

you need a vent. That can be used for a vent or a return. The vent needs to go up and thru the truck of the car.

I would keep the rollover/vent and use it.. if its a
true rollover/vent then you can run it direct out
the bottom... no need to go up and have loops in
the line... that small one on the cap assm might not
move enough air
EDIT
my rollover/vent has a -6 fitting for a hose... but
that looks like a rollover/vent

I will make that a vent. The fitting in the fuel cell is straight through with no valve. Would this be a good kit to use?
