Mega Mopar Action race in May

I had planned on driving the 350 miles to race there this year. However I received a email from Texas Motorplex that had all the specifics on it. Unless I want to race in Superpro with my footbrake Duster I don't have a class to race in. Do any of you that are attending have anymore details. I just find it hard to believe there isn't a class my Duster can run in. It runs high tens so it would be a chore to slow it down to 12 seconds for Pro. Sportsman is all run but with DOT tires.

Monster Mopar race will have a class you can get into.. Two races this year

Yeah there's about 2 or three at Monster Mopar this year at both St Louis and Indy, ???

Red, they've caught an earful about the class structure. Changes are coming. Electronics will be a separate class and the quick footbrakers will be taken care of. Keep checking back.

Dennis, they'll be races at Maple Grove and Virginia Motorsports Park too. Fuel prices will keep a lot of us close to the house, I'm afraid.

The correct classes are as follows:

Nostalgia Super Stocks - all brands run, Footbrake, INDEXES, 1/4 mile

EVOLUTION CUSTOM AUTO sponsored
"Modern HEMI Shootout"
for 2002 & later produced vehicles with the Mopar modern Hemi's. All Run, 1/4 mile

TEXAS TRAILER MAN Sponsored
Electronics
All Run, 1/8 mile

SUPER PRO
Footbrake, 7.50 and quicker 1/8 mile

PRO
Footbrake, 12.00 and slower 1/4 mile

LX-Sportsman (DOT tire)
Footbrake, all run, 1/4 mile

Test/tune available to non competing vehicles.

There will be a judged car show.

There will be a judge model car show.

Exhibition program to be announced.

Gate fees, race classes, race class entry fees,
will be posted in the next few days on the Texas Motorplex web site, the Mopars at the Motorplex web site, and the Mega Mopar Action Series web site.
