What block R U using R4?
It would be nice if Ritter block would work with this head.
Any flow data available????
Those heads R probably worth more than well built smallblock.

Will not know flow #s until heads are finished. Ordering valves next week as well as springs etc. I know they flow over 400 cfms but no exact #'s yet. No pics of the ports until all is completed. You never know who is watching! Lol

It would be called Mopar P5 valve arrangement. Lol. Very similar to the Hemi99. I think these heads were designed first but not certain. Al might know.

I believe they are actually built by VED for RWR. I could be wrong but mine came from VED. They show a billet SBF on their website and no P5's.

Beautiful heads, but the term HEMI shouldn't be attached to them. People need to review the definition of the HEMI term, because if we can call that head a HEMI head, then just about any head ever made can be called a HEMI head. Just my

Dave you would need to take that up with Ma Mopar. I know what you are saying. The Hemi99 is in the same boat. I guess since they had two separate R4 blocks which accepted different P5 heads, they figured it easier to call one a wedge head. The other a hemi head. Atleast the sparkplug boots go through the valve covers. The Gen 3Hemi is not a hemi either. Just saying.

Doesnt look like much in the way of cooling ability which is normal for billet pieces from what Ive seen so far...I guessing streetability is a no-go?

Will be somewhere in the neighborhood of 400". Will be getting an 88 mm turbo for X275 and a 98 mm turbo for local stuff. Innercooled on Q16 and BS3 ENGINE management. Here's the donor body which is at B and B Racecars in Tennessee getting upgraded to Dragpak/X275 specifications.

Re: My new Billet SBM HEMI heads - 02/05/12 06:57 AM

According to Ma Mopar, Hemi with a capital "H" is the trademark owned by Mother...hemi with a small "h" means an engine with a hemispherical combustion chamber.

This engine and car build really has one purpose! To show the haters that a Mopar can run with any of them. If I wanted a streeters I would have bought an SRT and put on a Procharger. Not trying to be a smart a$$. This is extremely expensive and takes alot of dedication. Our goal is to head to Georgia in the fall and stun the haters.

Hey Marty that's good enough for me. I was just wondering if there was the cooling ablility for street use in those heads. Hammer those guys!

Awesome.

As I told the fella from down under months ago, make anything you want just put your brand name on them instead of one that starts with "m", and there shouldn't be a problem. Glad he got them done, they look killer!

At ma mopar, the "P" in P5 actually means Polysphere.
I wouldn't spend any time debating anything about the name though. The only cylinder head I ever suggested a name for was the Stage VII.

I know a guy who bought one of the iron Ritter blocks with the lifter
bores and deck unmachined for P-5 heads. Should work. I'm not sure
why he insisted on 9.600" deck for 410" though?

I don't think Kent offers them machined for the P-5 head........
even though I suggested it to him about 3 years ago.

Heads nearly complete. Intake is fixing to begin. All billet with a 105 mm throttle body. Crower crank is done as well.
