Very nice! It's a bummer that you can't see them when you open the hood. I ordered a set of Jesels for my project. Sure look a lot nicer than my last set!

Clear Mopar covers?
Gotta link? That place is not easy for me to find stuff, since I rarely lurk there.

Can't find a link, must have been over a year ago when I saw it posted. I'm still searching. I think it was one of the guys that does a lot of carbon fiber work and just did a custom set for someone if I remember correct.

Riteous buck's for sure, but I feel more confident about the valve train staying together now, just wish I didn't have to replace all the guides this time around too since they are worn out.

Bill I have used 3 sets over the years and really like them but do yourself a favor and dummy them on the heads as soon as you can to see if they need some clearancing for the valve springs. Some guys send them back so T&D can do the work or you may lose the warranty if you do it yourself.

Very nice Bill.

I wish at times I would have saved a little more money and bought T&D or Jesels. Not unhappy with my Harlands except installing them. PITA!

Good choice. Beep

Thanks for the heads up, Terry is going to take care of that because the heads need to be cut anyways for tip alignment and height they appear that they will fit but would be too close for comfort so the intent is to use a smaller diameter spring to get a little more clearance, would be going from a 1.625 dia to a 1.550.

Well I can you this..It ain't about money if it fix the problem. It was down right crazy at times.and very frustrating..To win a round and not be able to go run the next one.. He got a box of junk parts over this deal ! Never in my life seen a deal like this..You never knew when it was going to break..it might go 6-8 rounds and be OK and then it would break 3 rounds in a row ! valve cover bolts are wore out on that car !

I have Jesel rockers on my 540. I never (ever) worry about valvetrain failure anymore. You will love the peace of mind that setup will give you.

Thanks Rick! You are sooooo right Vern, it was exasperating at times, be going some rounds heading for a good showing and then... poof and a mad dash under the hood to try and fix it, not so bad during time trials where I had some time,,,but getting close to round robin racing...

going on the commandos, kinda neat that they sent a gage with the rocker's to measure the stand height and has instruction's on how to do it.

Re: aren't they pretty, winter upgrade. - 01/30/12 07:25 AM

Chris,
That looks like a Mopar rocker not a T&D. The T&D's have needle bearings on the shaft mount rockers and the paired shaft ride on a 5/8" shaft with bearings as well. If you are running over 600# of spring pressure you should have the paired shaft rockers.

Just to make sure you should call T&D and ask for Sheldon he can tell you exactly what they are and when they were built just so you know.
