im building a 408 from a 75 360 block. Are the small block oil pans different. will a small block oil pan fit. 318-340

You'll need a 360 oil pan to fit the 360 block. 318 and 340's have the same front and rear seals while the 360 has a different style and smaller rear seal.
im going to order an aftermarket one that holds about 7-8 quarts. does it have to be a certain year
