That was one bad wreck by one of the best racers of all time. 50 round wins in a row. Boy I only wish we could still have race coverage like Diamond P did years ago. No more Paul Page would be a great starting point.

First thing he did was to cover up his intake done by Greg Davis..

He was ahead of his time. Also the carbs cut in half too..

With all due respect, how can the Arrow not be mentioned?

Speaking of which, here they are around '86-87. Very cool. This was at St. Louis.

The video maker( Ford lover ) stated that Bob's 1979 Fairmont was undeafed, I think he means Bobs 1979 Plymouth Arrow was undefeated I'm almost sure Bob raced the Arrow in 1979 and part of 1980 until Mopar went B.K. the first time maybe not

The Arrow did not go undefeated, Glidden lost on a redlight to Randy Humphrey at the Mile Highs. The previous year the Fairmont did go undefeated.

While the Glidden crash was a bad one one of our Mopar faithful had a bad one as well a few years later...

It's amazing that covering the intake is what he does - after a tumble like that!

I was at the Southern Nationals the day he had that wreck. Seems like after that wreck he lost the advantage he had over the rest of the field.

That wreck put Jerry Haas on the map. Bob was one of the few using his chassis and after surviving that there were many more.

Coincidently, I was at both races!

A J's looked worse at the time, that car spun like a top and then over the concrete rail. 99 gators, remember it like yesterday. Gliddens was almost in slow motion by comparison.

Worst ones I ever saw were Cory Mac and Doug Herbert...both on the top end and both at Rockingham
