Motor swap.leave bell housing on trans or motor

Which way is easier to get realigned? Foot problem. 360 going in an ,80 step side. Which is easier leaving the bell housing on the motor or trans?

I gather this is a stick trans set up. Bell and clutch assy on the motor.
