Jeep Grand Cherokee Exhaust

Have a '22 GC (new body style WL) with a 5.7 in it. Would like to make it sound a little more worthy of the V8, but not go full out Hellcat or scat pack. Was thinking of just removing the rear mufflers (resonators) but leaving everything else intact. Has anyone done this and how does it sound? Is the interior sound too loud or any droning noise? It's the wife's driver and need to make sure its not too loud for her. Thanks in advance.

Has the wife complained about the exhaust note not being "tough enough"...
or do you want to just make it a little louder, because it has a 5.7? If it's her daily cruiser, you may just want to leave it as is.
