2010 Dodge Ram 1500 R/T

I’m going to look at a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 R/T and was wondering if anyone here has one or has experience driving one or what your opinion of them is?

It’s got a 390 hp 5.7L HEMI with a 4.10 rear end from the factory, same HP and diff as a ‘69 1/2 M code 440-6 BBL A12 Road Runner/Super Bee! So it’s got to be quick. It’s a 2WD short box with 20” rims, bucket seats, console shift and a bunch of other options. Original window sticker was over. $33K new…

I had a 2012 Rt and I loved it. Quick and sounded great and rode fine. Not super soft or super stiff. But the milage was not so good. I averaged 12mpg. I added a hypertech tuner and coul;d tell the difference. Great truck all round with no issues at all but it only had 35,000miles on it.

Well, I went and bought one! It’s a loaded up 2010 Ram R/T. 100% Rust free Florida truck but does have some sunburn on the clearcoat. No worries though, I would trade sunburn for rust any day. I love it! 390 HP with a 4.10 diff. This should be fun!

Nice !!! I have always liked the short bed / standard cabs , good looking trucks !!! ... .I have an original owner 92 ... I had a 21 Ram Classic ( only way to get a short bed / standard cab ) (Hemi.. 4WD , 3.92 rear ,list price was a little over $40,000 ) on order back in 2021 after waiting over 5 months I canceled the order and bought a quad cab with the same Hemi and 3.92 rear off the lot . I now hear they have discontinued making the short bed / standard cab again

Personally not a fan of crew cab trucks myself anyway. Pisses me off that that's all that we can get these days.. bought a former Fastenal truck to avoid the 4 door
Actually I wish I could still get a club cab that is also a Dodge
